+ What is brow lamination?
Brow lamination is a customizable treatment that is used to reposition the natural brow hairs giving the illusion of fuller, fluffy, well groomed brows while enhancing the shape. The service can be styled to the desired outcome. You can expect your brow lamination to last up to six weeks.
+ Who is/isn’t an ideal candidate for brow lamination?
Anyone who is interested in improving the overall appearance of their brows. Clients with sparse brows to clients with thick brows are suitable for the service. Anyone with skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, alopecia, sunburn, ultra sensitive skin, wounds, scar tissue in the treatment area, or anyone who is using AHA, BHA or retinol should avoid this service. Pregnant/breast feeding can still have the service but we can not guarantee results as hormones can sometimes affect the solutions.
+ How should I prepare prior to my appointment?
Please remove all makeup on and around the brow area prior to your appointment. It is recommened to exfoliate the area prior to the service for the best results.
+ Aftercare instructions
In order to keep your eyebrows beautiful, please take into consideration you must keep your eyebrows completely dry for 24 hours. Do not touch or move the brow hairs as they are still stabilizing. Exposing the brows to steam, heat, water, or products could change the appearance and cause the brows to become unruly. Brows must be conditioned often to maintain results. Recommended products: hair conditioner in the shower or applying coconut oil daily.

+ What are eyelash extensions?
Eyelash extensions are semi-permanent extensions that are weightless and comfortable. Eyelashes are applied with a lash adhesive to each individual natural eyelash, adding length and fullness. The bond is designed to last until the eyelashes naturally fall out during their lash cycle. Once you notice your lash extensions are becoming sparse, a fill is required to maintain the desired look.
+ Will eyelash extensions affect my natural eyelashes?
When eyelash extensions are applied correctly no damage will occur. This is why the appropriate thickness and length is selected based on what your natural lashes can support. Lashes will fall out naturally on their own once they have reached their adult phase, and not due to the extensions.
+ What to consider when booking a fill
50% of your eyelash extensions must be present when attending a fill appointment. If fills are not booked within the allotted fill time it is considered a full set.
+ What to expect during the process
During the application you will be required to keep your eyes closed. Lashes will be individually isolated and have an extension attached until the desired look is achieved. A full set takes anywhere from 1-2.5 hours to complete depending on which style you have booked. The service is painless and relaxing.
+ How to arrive to your appointment
Please remove all eye makeup prior to your appointment. Extensions will not adhere properly if your natural lashes have any traces of oils.
+ How lash shedding works
On average your eyes naturally shed 2-5 natural lashes per eye per day. Keep in mind that everyone is different. On average in 1 week you will lose 21 eyelashes, in 2 weeks you will lose 42 eyelashes and by 3 weeks you will lose 63 eyelashes.
+ Aftercare instructions
- You will be sent home with a mascara wand to comb your eyelash extensions daily once your appointment is complete.
- You do NOT need to wait 24 hours before coming in contact with water. It use to be recommened but with lots of research we now know that the adhesive cures instantly whichs means we do not need to keep the lashes dry for the first 24 hours.
- Washing your lashes directly after the application is allowed as long as you are using an approved lash cleanser.
- Clients who find the adhesive irritating to their eyes are recommened to wash following the appoointment to eliminate any fumes or glue partiles that have settled on or around your eyes.
- Avoid pulling, picking or twisting your lash extensions as it could cause damage to your natural lashes.
- Avoid lash curlers, and any oil based products.
- Brush lashes daily with your reusable mascara wand.
- Use lash shampoo & a cleansing brush to cleanse your lashes daily. This will make a big diffrence in your retention. Clean lashes are healthy lashes.
- Do not attempt to remove your lash extensions, please schedule to have them safely removed
- Avoid contact from heat, examples bbqing, opening the oven, hair dryers this can cause the extensions to loose their curl.

+ What is a lash lift?
Lash lifts are an advancement of the old fashioned “lash perm”. Silicone pads are used to lift the lashes from the root only, creating a natural looking lift. Helping give the illusion of length and making the eyes pop. Lifts are a great alternative to eyelash extensions for someone who does not want the maintenance of eyelash extensions but is looking to enhance their natural eyelashes. You can expect your lift to last up to 6 weeks.
+ What is eyebrow tinting?
Tinting is used to dye the eyebrow hair to give a more defined look. Tinting is a natural enhancement. You can expect eyebrow tinting to last up to 2 weeks.
+ What is hybrid eyebrow tinting?
A hybrid tint is similar to eyebrow tinting however, it last twice as long on the eyebrow hair and stains the skin for up to 7 days.
+ What to expect during the process
LASH LIFT & TINT: You will be lying down throughout the entire service. Expect your eyes to remain closed for 45 minutes for the lift and tint. This service is painless and relaxing.
EYEBROW TINT/HYBRID TINT: This service only takes 20-30 minutes. The service is painless and relaxing.
+ How to arrive to your appointment
LASH LIFT & TINT: Please remove all eye makeup prior to your appointment. Any makeup/oil on the area will affect the lift and tint from achieving desired results.
EYEBROW TINT/ HYBRID TINT: Please remove all makeup around and on the eyebrow area prior to your appointment. It is recommended to exfoliate the area prior to the service for the best results.
+ Aftercare instructions
LASH LIFT & TINT: In order to maximize the life of your new lash lift, when booking your appointment please take into consideration you must not come in contact with water for the first 24 hours. After a lash lift you are able to wear eye makeup if desired, however do not apply waterproof mascara as this will break the curl down. Applying an oil daily to nourish you lashes will extend your lash lift.
EYEBROW TINT/HYBRID TINT: After a brow tinting service it is recommened to wait 24 hours before washing the area to create lasting results.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
+ What kind of wax does Blink Beauty Bar use?
We use both hard and soft wax to make all waxing services as comfortable as possible. Hard wax only adheres to the hairs and not the skin making it less aggressive to sensitive areas.
+ How to prepare prior to your appointment?
Please exfoliate the day prior to your service. Grow your hair to approximately 1/8th to 1/4th of an inch. Trim if hair is longer, as long hair can cause discomfort.
+ Who isn't an ideal candidate from waxing?
Anyone who is on medication that may cause the skin to be sensitive. Clients should avoid waxing if they are using retinol.
+ How long should your hair be before waxing?
It is recommended to avoid shaving 2-3 weeks before your waxing appointment depending on your growth cycle. If you are a regular waxing client we recommend waiting 3-4 weeks between waxes. Body hair should be the length of a grain of rice. If hair needs to be trimmed before waxing a fee will be applied.
+ Aftercare instructions
It is recommended to avoid anything that may cause heat for 24 hours, i.e. exercising, tanning or a hot shower. After 48 hours, exfoliating two to three times weekly is recommended to prevent ingrown hairs.

+ How to prepare prior for your appointment
Exfoliate and shave the day prior to your appointment. The day of your spray tan refrain from using moisturizers, perfumes, lotions, oils or deodorant that may create a barrier between your skin and the tanning solution.
+ How to dress after your appointment
Wear loose clothing (jogging pants, large shirt, maxi dress etc.) Avoid all tight-fitting undergarments if possible. For your tan you may wear undergarments, a bathing suit or go nude. The mist will not stain the clothing but the cosmetic bronzer may rub off on clothing, which will come out in the wash.
+ How long does the tan last?
7-10 days. Moisturizing regularly will help create long-lasting results. Do not wax or exfoliate as this will remove the tan. Using mild moisturizers and shower gels is recommended.
+ How long after my appointment should I shower?
Depending on the desired results you will be instructed when to rinse off the cosmetic mist. While drying, remember to pat dry, not rub your skin.
Light: 1 hour
Medium: 2 hours
Dark: 3 hours
During your first shower after your spray tan session you will see the cosmetic bronzer rinse off, leaving you with the flawless shade of bronze. Once you shower your tan may not be very noticeable. It will take 24 hours for your tan to fully develop.
+ What to consider when booking before an event/vacation
The closer to the event the better. If you are attending an event or going on vacation we recommend 1-2 days before.
